Pre-race registration for the events is now CLOSED. Ongoing registration for the Half Iron Triathlon will be available on race weekend at Murphy Park. See the Event Schedule on this website for registration hours. There will be NO ongoing registration for the Sprint Distance race since it is full (see below).

 

SPRINT DISTANCE EVENT FULL: Sorry, the Sprint Distance Event is now AT CAPACITY. You may no longer register for that event. There is no wait list and registrations are no longer being accepted for the July 17th Sprint DistanceTriathlon. In addition, since it is after June 30th (see below), participants may no longer switch events, convert their individual entry to a relay, or transfer their entry to another athlete.

It is the same exact cost to register online using a credit card as to register offline using a mail in form and check. Online registration is encouraged.

Please note that both the Sprint and the Half Iron are expected to sell out. In 2009, the Door County Sprint Triathlon sold out before the end of June.

 

The Door County Triathlon is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT). To participate in this event, a USAT membership is required.

PACKET CREDENTIALS

In order to pick up your packet, please have a photo ID or the Registration Confirmation that the event will email to you. If you would prefer to have someone else pick up your packet, a family member or friend may do so if they bring a copy of your emailed Registration Confirmation.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

REFUND REQUESTS
There will be NO REFUNDS issued for ANY reason.
There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

TRANSFER FROM 2010 TO 2011 EVENT (aka DEFERRALS)
There will be NO TRANSFERS from this year's event to future year events.

TRANSFER FROM ATHLETE TO ATHLETE
Participants MAY transfer their entry to another athlete. Transfers between athletes will be accepted THROUGH JUNE 30, 2010. After June 30th, transfers will not be permitted. The person to whom they transfer their entry must send in a completed entry form including a signed waiver and a note in the margin explaining whose entry they are taking the place of. Participants who wish to transfer their entries (transferors) are responsible for finding someone to transfer their entries to (transferees). This is not the responsibility of the race director or staff.

TRANSFER FROM EVENT TO EVENT
Transfers between events will only be accepted if there is availability, i.e. if the other event is not sold out. Example: If the Sprint Distance event is sold out, Half Iron participants may not "drop down" to that event. Requests must be submitted in writing to the race director through the website (see Contact Us). Requests to transfer from the Sprint Distance event to the Half Iron event must be accompanied by a check for the price difference between events at the time of the request. Requests to transfer from the Half Iron to the Sprint Distance event WILL NOT result in a partial refund.
