The 2015 edition of the Door County Sprint Triathlon reached its 1,000 participant capacity on April 14th, exactly one month earlier than the previous year. The Door County Half Iron reached its capacity for 1,000 participants in just one day in January. RACE ORGANIZERS DO NOT MAINTAIN A WAIT LIST but transfers from athlete to athlete are permitted through June 30th. People interested in purchasing an entry are encouraged to post on the event’s Facebook page (see link at left) and monitor the page for registrants who become injured, undertrained or are otherwise unable to use their entry. There is an automated online transfer link on the front page of the event website (above). Buyers and sellers must coordinate payment between them. The automated online system imposes a $20 transfer fee on the buyer. THE DEADLINE FOR TRANSFERS IS JUNE 30TH AT MIDNIGHT.
