PACKET CREDENTIALS

Per USA Triathlon guidelines, only the participant themselves with a valid photo ID may pick up their packet.  You must be the participant and you must have a photo ID to pick up your packet. Since we offer race day packet pick up, there is no legitimate reason for us to make exceptions to this policy.   For relay teams, only one member of the team needs to be present in order to pick up the packet but they must be listed as a participant and show a valid photo ID.  Relay team packets contain all credentials for that relay team.  The relay team member who picks up their packet must also pick up their team members’ t-shirts and goodie bags at the time of pick up.

REFUND REQUESTS
There will be NO REFUNDS issued for ANY reason.
There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

TRANSFERS FROM 2024 TO FUTURE EVENTS (also known as “DEFERRALS”)
There will be NO TRANSFERS from this year’s event to future year events.

TRANSFERS FROM ATHLETE TO ATHLETE
Participants MAY transfer their entry to another athlete online. All transfers will incur a $35 transfer fee which will be charged to the buyer. Transfers between athletes are automated through our online system accessible via the Manage / Transfer Registration link on the front page of the website and will be accepted through midnight, the day prior to the event. It is incumbent upon the seller, not the race, to find a buyer. We do not maintain a “wait list.” We do post a Buy | Sell link to the event’s Facebook page starting in May each year to facilitiate buyers and sellers finding one another. NOTE: When transferring, the buyer MAY NOT change between individual and relay or between events (Sprint and Half Iron), as explained below.

SWITCHING FROM INDIVIDUAL TO RELAY OR RELAY TO INDIVIDUAL
Switching from individual entry to relay entry or from relay entry to individual entry WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. Allowing such changes would cripple our ability to forecast participant supply needs for things such as medals, bibs, t-shirts, food and fluids.  In addition, we are not administratively staffed to process these types of changes.  The only way to change category (individual/relay) or events (Sprint/Half Iron) is to sell your own entry and find a willing seller for the category and event that you wish to participate in.  See paragraph above for information on transferring your entry.

SWITCHING FROM EVENT TO EVENT
Switching between the four categories (Sprint-Individual, Sprint-Relay, Half Iron-Individual, Half Iron-Relay) WILL NOT be permitted.  We are not administratively staffed to process these types of changes.  You may not switch from Sprint to Half Iron or vice-versa.  The only way to change category (individual/relay) or events (Sprint/Half Iron) is to sell your own entry and find a willing seller for the category and event that you wish to participate in.  See paragraph above for information on transferring your entry.
